IR Heating: How Does It Work?

IR Heaters operate very differently to convection heaters. Take a look at a radiator. These are designed to receive hot water, which then warms air which then warms the room which then warms you!

As you can see there are a lot of steps between you feeling warm and the initial heating process, making convection heaters quite inefficient.

IR Heaters instead emit infrared radiation, which is immediately absorbed by the bodies and objects it hits. This cuts out several steps and lets you feel the warmth very quickly. It’s similar to how the sun warms you up- but without any harmful UV radiation to worry about.

Your panel is designed to have a lifespan of up to 30 years in ideal circumstances- with very little maintenance required in that time. This is because there are no moving parts within the panel, and the FIR coating keeps the temperature evenly distributed. This means there are minimal stress points where your heater can fail- in spite of how slender and compact this panel looks.

All you need to do to look after your panel is wipe it down every so often to remove dust.

Easy Installation

This ease of use is apparent right from installation. Your panel is designed from the ground up to feature plug and play functionality. You don’t need to be an electrician, you just need to be able to hang a painting.

You don’t even need to manually measure out where to drill, we include a stencil that makes this easy!

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest the panel into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel in!
