This is a pretty powerful heater, so it’s good to know that as an electric IR panel, it makes every single watt count. In addition to a 100% efficiency rate, infrared heaters use a unique form of radiant heat that’s amazing at warming you up directly.
To explain, traditional convectional heaters warm the air around you. This warm air rises, while cool air will sink. Eventually all the air in the room becomes warm. Even at a glance, you can see how this is functional but inefficient, there’s a lot of steps between you turning the heating on and you feeling warm.
IR heaters send infrared radiation straight into the room in the form of waves. These waves hit objects which warm them up. These objects then emit more infrared waves, thus warming everything in the room. As a result, you feel warm super-fast, saving energy.
All in, this means you can save as much as 60% on your heating bills!

Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200°C without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
One of the keys to getting your heating under control is managing it properly. You can’t just turn your heating on and leave it and expect to save money, especially with electric heating. Nexus adds all-new innovations thanks to its Wi-Fi connectivity that makes this effortless.
For example, you can sync your heater up with the Smart Life app on your phone, which means you can switch it on and off or adjust your goal temperature to your liking from anywhere in the world, you just need a signal.
You can also set timers for your heating to come on and off, so it won’t be on for a second longer than you want it to be. Minimise the risk of leaving your heating running and burning lots of money with these features.
Each Nexus panel also comes with a remote control included, which enables control over your heater even if you don’t have a Wi-Fi signal in the house, or if you don’t have your phone near you.
This simple remote lets you quickly and easily turn the heater on and off as well as adjust your goal temperature from a distance. It’s not quite as versatile as the Smart Life app, but it’s a simple pick up and play design that anyone can adjust to.
You also don’t need to shell out to get your panel installed. Everything you need is included in the box, except a drill. You don’t need to hire a professional to help unless you want your panel wired into the mains- otherwise it’s a simple matter that will take no longer than 30-40 minutes.
All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest the panel into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel in!
If you want to be ahead of the curve on the discrete heating trend, these panels are completely indistinguishable from any other work of art you might hand on your wall! Despite the largeness of this panel, it’s still incredible slender at only 22mm thick. This ensures it can sit very close to your wall, saving space in a stylish way.
Your guests won’t realise these panels are heaters until they’re feeling the warmth.

Morning folks, I’m looking into getting this for a ceiling mount in my kitchen but I need a longer flex than 1.5m - what do you advise?
Can these be used as prime source of heating? My house is all open plan, 4m by 8m with ceiling of 4.5m bedroom and bathroom on mezzanine. I was recomended an output of 3800kw.
Can heater be wall mounted partly behind a door
Is this 100% efficient or better?
Can the panel be mounted directly on to a ceiling using the some fixing points as used when mounting on a wall or does the suspension kit have to be used?
Where abouts on the rear of the 995x1195x22mm size panel does the power cord come out from, for example, is it located in the geometric centre of the panel, the left hand corner (when viewed from the front) or the right hand corner. (when viewed from the front). I am concerned about the distance to the nearest 13A plug socket. Is it possible to connect a longer replacement cable to any terminals at the rear, or is the 1.7m cable the maximum for safety reasons? Does lining the interior of the room with foil backed plasterboard or foil type insulation improve the thermal performance of the heater within a room; overall due to far infra red reflection.
Is it necessary to have wi-fi in order for the remote control to be used?
